The cluster under the EU TREC-STEP BHEL Project was officially launched on 10th September, 2011 and a memorandum of understanding was signed between TREC-STEP and BHEL. The project has organized several cluster meetings with the participation of thermal power sector players for identifying knowledge gaps in generating awareness and capacity building in CCT CCS areas in the Indian power sector. The programme reached out to over 180 thermal power sector players and power sector related institutions across India during the project period. This resulted in a vibrant network for generating and diffusing ideas and concepts related to CCT. |
